Hi Everyone!

Many of you have heard me rave about my favorite restaurant in Longmont, Terroir. They occasionally offer cooking classes that are a lot of fun. Several of you have asked me to let you know when classes are available, but I can't remember who all was interested! These aren't really classes for a very beginner cook, but Tim is pretty flexible and easy going. They are a great value - $65 for 3 hours of instruction, a fabulous lunch, and a $10 gift certificate to the restaurant. Contact Terroir directly if you want to take a class (303) 651-0630. Upcoming Cooking Class Schedule:

Saucier 1 Beginning Sauces: The first of a four-part series, this class will focus on pan sauces, beurre blanc and other quick sauces, stocks, and gastriques -- Saturday, January 16th from 9 a.m.until noon

Saucier 2 Egg Based Sauces: The second of a four-part series, this class will focus on hollandaise, bernaise, and clarifying butter -- Saturday, January 30th from 9 a.m. until noon

Saucier 3 Modern Sauces: The third of a four-part series, this class will focus on coulis, vinaigrettes, and chutneys -- Saturday, February 13th from 9 a.m. until noon

Saucier 4 Dessert Sauces: The last of the series, this class will focus on coulis, creme anglaise, and sabayon --Saturday, February 27th from 9 a.m. until noon

All About Fish: Learn how to cook, prepare, butcher, store, and sauce fish -- Saturday, March 13th from 9 a.m. until noon

All About Pasta: Learn how to make dough, shape, store, and cook hand-cut pastas -- Saturday, March 27th from 9 a.m. until noon

All classes are limited to six students. All supplies, use of equipment, and clean-up included in price of $65 per class. Also, included in price is a $10 gift certificate for Terroir.

Purchase any three classes for discounted price of $165, including a $30 gift certificate for Terroir.
